Lindsey: I never want to leave EVER (but I do miss you Jason:)! I got over 17,000 steps today and Ella was pretty much with me for all of that...how is she still not tired?! Just hanging around my very generous brother and sister-in-law's house today and doing the usual things we love in San Diego.
Clearly having NO fun at all! Our favorite park before 8 am. Good times. Not sure if any of you are fans of Ultimate Beast Master (on Netflix) but I love that crap and have obviously passed it on to my child...part 1 (https://youtu.be/vvhDSaYips4) and part 2 (https://youtu.be/2P3ORGM70_M)

Adventure Stop #22: USS Midway Museum: San Diego, CA

"Why are they smooching?" Getting our learn on...

Stopped here to watch some YouTube videos of how one could possibly take off and land on an aircraft carrier. I am very certain I do not have any desire to ever try it but the human bear feels confident she could make it happen today.

Ella: "Can you send this to Daddy and say, 'I need this.'" Uhm, no...It's just pretty walking from place to place here.

We all have things we are working on to be better. This is what I am asking of the human bear. She was not as amused.

Thank goodness we found it! ANOTHER PENNY. San Diego makes you do work for these. haha (https://youtu.be/1H6pXZTdiAA)

Pretending to be Jacquotte Delahaye, because what six year old doesn't have a French pirate that they want to be like when they grow up? After reading her biography in Rebel Girls, I can see why!

And finally, when we have great days, sometimes the mean plant-based-wanna-be mom takes you to a dessert bar because we can't all be so serious all the time. Black velvet cake...I didn't even know that was a thing but of course the human bear chose a cake with gold flakes sprinkled all over the top! She is consistent if nothing else.

Ella: Did one postcard and crashed from the sugar high.
Beast Mode: Is on a bender since meeting his new bear friend last night.
