COVID:19 - Week 8

We hope all the moms out there had a great Mother's Day yesterday! My awesome Jason kept the Bear with him out running around town so I could enjoy some quiet time at home alone. I got sweet cards, chocolates and fancy food. What more does one need? Nothing at all.

Apologies if we didn't personally say Happy Mother's Day to you. Here's your card!

What Did We Do This Week?

There was a LOT of Wii activity. Getting the old house sifted through means more things rolling into the new and this will be great when it's rainy but we still need to get some movement in...it is also hilarious. I'm not telling her that the jumping isn't necessary because it wouldn't be nearing as funny or exhausting without the jumps.

Two concerts in our neighborhood and they were great! I had to watch this one on IG b/c they were in their backyard but THANK YOU to The Michael Foster Project for a great Mother's Day jam session.

On to skydiving!

The human Bear asked me if I wanted to help her make a quilt b/c she's behind on my Mother's Day present. haha I'm not really down with making my own gifts but I thought this was so creative, she's making pot holders and then using a bobby pin and yarn to thread them together to make a quilt.

We had a foundation meeting last night and then this morning Jason found this on our door mat...I have NO idea how it got there but I like to think of it as a hello from Dai-Jon.

I don't know the name of this band but they played for four hours yesterday and we enjoyed from the corner for a little while and the rest from our own backyard:)

Weekend family time is the best whenever I can get these two to slow down!

Jason said he couldn't find the Bear at the old house and he was looking all around for her. hahah

I just felt pretty proud of this accomplishment. Yes, clearly I can stop running man at the right time! Be jealous.

Jason's office gets hot but when he needs a break the Bear is happy to pop in and play a quick round.

The UNO rounds were clearly getting heated. Jason found this threat in his office after the Bear was supposed to be asleep.

I love her too much to post the video of Dance Dance Revolution. She stomps the mess out of them and does not feel the need to find the rhythm. I do not accept that as my trait!

The crafting is now also a time to show displeasure. I must have called piles of stuff in her room "junk". Change the glossary and drive the point home. Noted.

Duct tape purse now has a strap! Mission complete.

If I don't win some Alberstson's monopoly money, I am going to be so mad!

Because no one has talked about wake boarding in awhile. I killed Kimmer's old Wii record in case anyone is keeping score!

Cinco de Mayo AND Taco Tuesday! We hope you all enjoyed as well:)

Keeping the Taco Tuesday plant-based just use the butter lettuce instead of a tortilla and I stuffed it with BBQ chickpeas, avocaco, hummus, shallots, tomatoes and purple cabbage:)

Plant based Chili good enough for Jennifer to eat! haha Sub quinoa for ground beef and everything else is already pretty healthy. I'd say check the cans of tomatoes you use b/c lots of companies sneak in sugar, sugar and more sugar!

Fresh Guacamole: The pains of mistaking a serrano pepper for a jalepeno will never be forgotten!

Jason is convinced I'm no longer friends with the neighbor b/c I gave her a used container of nut pods and something that looks like breast milk. It's plant based creamer and a miso dressing for all interested parties and I haven't heard from Ashley lately so maybe she thinks like Jason. kidding, we're still friends!

She just wants to be grown: apparently that means glasses and coffee.

Jason made snack time! His are always prettier than mine.

I must have been a good Mom this year b/c I got sushi on Mother's Day! Thanks again Boo.
