We finished the final leg of our trip where we will be in the same city for 8 whole days! Whoohoo! Time to unpack, relax, enjoy and see the city.

Day 1 was complete recovery from the road trip. We did enjoy an awesome breakfast at Over the Counter in MillCreek and then it was off to laundry, groceries and unpacking so we could enjoy the week. The mountains are SO pretty from almost every part of the city. We can't stop running into beautiful parks and we love seeing mountains!

Time to enjoy our cute little place downtown with some family game time.

Note to anyone trying to workout at a YMCA in Utah...it is not a thing! We went to the Y and Jason had to buzz someone to the door. He was ready to workout and apparently there are only two YMCAs in the entire state and they are NOT fitness centers. They sound more like daycare options. Very different from all of the other states we've been in so far.

Can't stop my Boo! After the Y confusion, I just said it was the universe letting me know I didn't need to work out, but he persisted and found a planet fitness. He's killing this fitness journey.

The human Bear has heard about a place called Swig. Apparently, when alcohol isn't a popular thing, we just replace it with sugar! There are no daiquiri drive throughs so instead there's a gigantic chain of high sugary drinks in it's place. She was THRILLED to get a drink on our way to check out the University of Utah. All about compromise.

The campus was beautiful!

I was very excited about this bathroom! It just said bathroom and everyone went in the same one and we all knew what to do. Except for the crazy lady taking pictures in the bathroom. It was me!

Flower Child may be my new favorite place to eat. So many fresh, green and yummy things!

No idea what day we are even on anymore but we found another park! Sugar House is the part of Salt Lake City we were in for this one and the views were breathtaking.

Yes, she's still doing this! haha And it works for her somehow.

There are more community gardens here than I've ever seen. Love it:)

More family game time. The human Bear was breaking up the games with very intense and dramatic performances to throwbacks we all know and love.

Quote Game - Exhaustion is Setting in and things are no longer making sense:
“Your body, your choice…my health insurance, I get input.”
“This is going on my wall when we get home with my chili’s crayon”
“This is what I sound like when I’m supposed to be having quiet time in my room.” Person 1 “Huh?” -Person 2 “Maaaammmmaaaaa!” 3rd Party
“OK, my bag is downstairs with the homeless lady.” Person 1 “uhm what?” Person 2 “Ran into a women from NOLA, she told me her whole story and I told her I’d buy her breakfast on my way to the gym…I left my weighted vest with her so she’d know I was coming back.” Person 1 “uhm what?” Person 2
Our friend Chris McKinley organized and hosted a wonderful Juneteenth celebration in MillCreek and we were so grateful that we could be here to experience it!
